Job Summary

The Laboratory Assistant will support overall laboratory operations and research activities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with laboratory management tasks, including:

    • Maintenance of transgenic mouse colonies

    • Ordering and inventory management of laboratory supplies

    • Ensuring compliance with institutional and federal protocols related to animal care, controlled substances, and biosafety regulations

  • Providing research support to laboratory members by:

    • Assisting with stereotactic surgeries and mouse behavioral assays

    • Conducting data analysis

    • Performing perfusions and histological processing

This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a research environment.
