As our next Maintenance Planner, you'll need to be intelligent and resourceful as you’ll be playing a significant part in the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities, working in-toe with the maintenance manager and reliability manager to ensure the smooth running of the factory machinery, keeping downtime to a minimum.  

To excel in this role, you must have the capability to working with a team of engineers, you’ll be responsible for planning and scheduling of maintenance and promoting a Continuous Improvement culture. 

You’re not the type to be unadaptable. The role isn’t for someone who lacks a creative instinct. In this role you will have the understanding that positive planned maintenance activities will save time and money. 

As a Maintenance Planner, you are quality-focused and trust in strong processes and procedures to reduce downtime. Your remit is to lead all planned maintenance activities and improvements within the engineering department. 

The Key Requirements... 

• Having worked in a maintenance planner role previously within a fast-paced, hazardous or challenge manufacturing environment 

• To have had previous experience as a hands-on maintenance engineer earlier in your career
