Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commissioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the commissioning and testing of various systems and equipment to ensure they operate according to specifications. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers and project managers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct commissioning activities for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

- Perform system testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.

- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of commissioning tasks.

- Document commissioning processes and results, providing detailed reports.

- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all commissioning activities.

- Provide training and support to end-users on system operations.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Technical degree or certification in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, technology).

- Proven experience in commissioning or related technical roles.

- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Requirements

Job Requirements

• Overnight and Extended Travel Durations REQUIRED.
• 2+ years Direct Solar Experience (preferred).
• NFPA 70E Certification.
• OSHA 30 training and certifications (Required, will be provided if not currently possessing).
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Must be able to work long and/or extended hours to include weekends as needed.
• Familiar with Local code, AHJ standards, and NEC code.
• Understands how to read and interpret contracts, plans, and specifications.
• Effective time management skills, understanding how to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrates commitment to high professional ethical standards.
• Collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done.
