Team & Position Description: 

We are currently seeking a Central Regional Sales Manager to join our collaborative and passionate Sales Team! This role leads a team of Educational Sales Consultants (ESCs) across a high-growth region. You’ll drive strategy and execution across the Central region—partnering directly with educators and district leaders to expand our hands-on learning impact. We are a purpose-driven, nimble, and committed group who believe in empowering students and teachers. What you’ll do day to day:  

  • Lead and coach the Central Regional Sales Team, focusing on skill development, motivation, and revenue growth.
  • Build a healthy pipeline of business by collaborating with ESCs and contributing directly as a player-coach.
  • Cultivate long-term strategic relationships with districts and school leaders.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Sales Operations to inform strategy with field intelligence.
  • Deliver strong sales presentations, both in-person and virtually, that position hand2mind as a solution-based partner.
  • Contribute to national sales goals by designing and executing regional strategies and campaigns.
  • Participate in Sales Leadership Team meetings, contributing ideas and taking ownership of cross-functional projects.
  • Support RFP development, sales training, and national/regional events in partnership with other sales leaders.
  • Guide the regional team in implementing key campaigns and using data to improve forecasting and win rates.
  • Provide feedback to marketing and product teams on market needs, messaging, and product opportunities.

What we’re looking for (Key Performance Objectives): 

  • Hire, develop, and retain a high-performing regional sales team that meets or exceeds quota in FY25.
  • Drive 3x pipeline coverage through effective weekly forecast meetings and strategic coaching.
  • Personally work key accounts to model strong selling, close high-value deals, and support ESC development.
  • Inform product and marketing teams with at least quarterly regional insights and data-informed recommendations.
  • Partner with the VP of Sales to lead an impactful Summer or National Sales Meeting training session.

Requirements/Ideal Attributes:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in educational sales, including at least 1–2 years of team management.
  • Demonstrated success in consultative or solution selling.
  • Strong verbal communication and sales presentation skills, both face-to-face and virtual.
  • Strategic thinker who takes initiative and leads by example.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate across departments.
  • High EQ, strong coaching skills, and a desire to help others succeed.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Compensation Range: $130,000-140,000 annual salary plus a commission plan – Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: years of experience, skill set or location. Total compensation includes profit sharing bonus potential, 401k matching, and a variety of other benefits (details can be found here).
