SCOR Reinsurance Company seeks CTO Senior Business Analyst in New York, NY, to manage tool development and improvement projects conducted within SBS (SCOR Business Solutions), in cooperation with other SCOR stakeholder such as IT, Claims, Accounting, Underwriting, Marketing and Reserving.
Responsibilities
Provide support on tools and data for SCOR US within the CTO (Chief Technology Office) team and ensure that SBS in North America has the tools and systems necessary to operate efficiently while being data driven and compliant with local requirements. Assessing processes and tools and revamping internal controls in line with our guidelines and rules. Oversee implementation of data and tools to support both the region and global operations. Developing tool using various technologies (VBA, Power BI apps, Tableau, Deepkube and Business Object). Represent CTO team in SBS North America. Act as a key contact between SBS North America underwriting team and the CTO. Maintain and provide support for local tool, adapting them to a standardized and common data infrastructure and reporting within SBS. Facilitate Accelerating digitization / automatization / integration of AI of existing processes and tools. Identify, compare, select and implement innovative technology solutions to meet current and future needs. Provide supporting tools and data to respond to external auditor inquiries, regulatory and compliance. Provide support and tools to various business functions including underwriting, accounting and claims to ensure close coordination in support of the business. Work closely with IT teams in France and Morocco, translating the needs of American users for French-speaking employees across various departments such as compliance, legal, and operations. Coordinate with teams, some of which are exclusively French-speaking, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Qualifications
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Management or a related field and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation: utilizing project management experience utilizing Agile methodology and project management tools including workflow and resource allocation; working with data visualization tools including standard Microsoft visualization tools; and utilizing experience in data integration, managing large data sets utilizing Excel VBA. Two (2) years of experience must include: working in reinsurance Industry including working with Lines of Business (Property, D&O, Liability, and Construction); utilizing experience in industry actuarial pricing models; utilizing experience with Document Extraction AI and automation, including knowledge of AI models and their architecture; and utilizing experience with US regulatory and compliance framework related to reinsurance industry, including admitted vs. non-admitted specificities. Proficiency in French required. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site.
Offered salary is between $150,301 and $165,000 per year. 40 hours per week.
