POSITION OBJECTIVE:The Nurse will be a liaison and advocate for the individualsin Lifesteps Community Homes. They willsupport and educate staff and communicate changes to supervisors, directors andmedical professionals. The Nurse willverify medical recommendations are being implemented and staff is being trainedin the care of the individuals’ needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- LPN or Registered Nurse with an active PA license.
- One (1) to two (2) years’ experience working in anursing field.
- Demonstrated ability to complete basic computer tasks.
- First Aid/CPR certification or the ability to complete course within 6 months of hire.
- Current driver’s license and the ability to travel for business utilizing personal vehicle.
Preferred:
Experience with Intellectual DevelopmentalDisability and/or special education.
