Job Summary
This role combines fitness expertise with a high level of personal service, tailored to an exclusive clientele. The ideal candidate will provide safe, effective, and customized fitness training while embodying the club’s values of excellence, discretion, and hospitality.
Essential Functions
· Conduct personalized fitness assessments and consultations for club members.
· Design and implement customized fitness programs based on individual goals, physical condition, and medical history.
· Lead one-on-one and small-group personal training sessions in a safe and engaging manner.
· Educate members on exercise techniques, proper equipment usage, and injury prevention.
· Guide and/or assist clients through various stretching techniques including static, dynamic and PNF stretches. Manual therapy and soft tissue manipulation are not within the PT scope and should be reserved for a physical therapist and/or massage therapist on staff.
· Maintain detailed records of member progress and adapt programs as needed.
· Collaborate with the Fitness Director and Head Personal Trainer, massage therapists, physical therapists and other team members to support a holistic wellness experience.
· Provide exemplary customer service and build positive relationships with members.
· Ensure training areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
· Stay current with fitness trends, certifications, and continuing education.
· Represent the club with professionalism and uphold a discreet, member-first attitude.
· Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

· May involve working early mornings, evenings, weekends or holidays as needed

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to Lift/Carry 20-30 lbs. or less regularly, Push/Pull 40-50 lbs. or less regularly, bend, squat, kneel, twist, turn, reach above shoulder, reach outward, handle, finger, stand, walk, talk, hear, work at or above shoulder, regularly, sit occasionally, ability to instruct and/or teach at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels for extended amounts of time. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus and independent mobility throughout the property.
Requirements
Qualifications
· Must hold an accredited nationally recognized Personal Training certification (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM, ISSA, NSCA).
· Obtain and maintain CPR/AED certification throughout employment
· 2+ years of personal training experience, preferably in a high-end or private setting.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a polished and professional demeanor.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on member demand.
· Any specialty certifications to work with members will be on a case by case basis with the Fitness Director’s approval.
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Sports Science or Kinesiology
· Experience working with older adults or clients with special health considerations.
· Certification or experience in areas such as youth performance training and youth development.
· Background in hospitality or luxury fitness environments is a strong plus.
