Job Functions:
The Custodian is responsible for the routine cleaning and sanitation of the facility, including the manufacturing floor, offices, restrooms, break rooms, common areas, and grounds. This role plays a critical part in supporting daily operations and maintaining a safe, professional atmosphere.
Duties to include:
Sweeping, mopping and waxing floors; vacuuming carpets; maintain restrooms by washing and sanitizing toilets and sinks and restocking supplies; cleaning mirrors and windows, dusting, trash removal inside and out; maintaining outer premises by watering plants, cleaning entrances, keeping lot free from trash and assisting with snow removal.
Requirements
Must be able to work independently and follow a cleaning schedule. Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred (especially in industrial or office environments)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be physically active for most of the shift
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
