Provides backup as needed regarding interviewing, underwriting, processing, closing and servicing. |
| E | 25% | Monitors lending regulations and real estate market trends including but not limited to selling loans on the secondary market, investor guidelines, private mortgage insurers and recommends policy and procedural changes to maintain compliance and remain competitive in the real estate lending markets. |
| E | 15% | Analyzes loan data reports for any corrective action. Maintains loan accounts including delinquency control and reporting to regulatory agencies as required. |
| E | 15% | Acts as the Loan Origination System and Loan Servicing System Administrator. This includes testing and implementing system upgrades and releases; installing and testing regulatory updates; establishing, programming and testing new products, fees and rates; creating and producing operational and management reporting; and, creating, testing and maintaining interfaces with internal and external parties. |

| Performance Measurements: | | 1. | Monitors daily operations of the Real Estate Origination, Processing, Underwriting, Closing and Servicing departments assisting the department supervisors as needed. |
| 2. | Provides timely and accurate reports and information to the VP of Lending and other departments as needed. |
| 3. | Assists with the implementation of a paperless mortgage process as well as looking for additional methods to increase department efficiencies. |
| 4. | Ensures great service to our members while resolving and tracking member complaints or issues associated with mortgage loans. Reports issues to the VP of Lending. |
| 5. | Ensures departments compliance with Real Estate regulations as well as internal policies and procedures. Responds to internal/external auditors and examiners. |
| 6. | Coordinates training for departments in Real Estate areas. |
| 7. | Coaches department supervisors and assists with coaching of employees, performance reviews and disciplinary actions as needed. |
| 8. | Stays current and complies with all federal and state regulations including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and all credit union policies and procedures. |

| Knowledge and Skills: | | Experience | Eight to ten years of similar or related experience. |
| | Education | (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree). |
| | Interpersonal Skills | Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication. |
