We are an integral player in the development and expansion of energy facilities and programs for major fueling companies, municipalities, utility organizations and independent marketers across the country. Our experience includes engineering and planning petroleum, hydrogen, EV charging, natural gas, CNG and LNG stations. *This is a full-time, onsite position*
Pay is DOE: $40-$48/hour

Energy Designer II Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of construction plans, exhibits, and various project documents.
- Possess some familiarity with typical piping systems.
- Coordinate with internal departments and sub-consultants for permitting related tasks.
- Prepare site-specific energy system site plans and associated details, including gasoline/diesel fueling and various alternative energy systems using AutoCAD (Revit is a plus but not required).
- Demonstrate knowledge of current regulatory requirements, applicable codes, and the ability to adapt to individual customer design standards.
- Perform detailed piping slope and tank burial calculations when required on a site-by-site basis.
- Assist project engineers in completing projects in a timely manner and within project budgets.
- Participate in internal team project meetings, with the potential for growth to attend and lead client meetings.
- Proficiency in electrical power, Low Voltage, and communication wiring is a plus.
Energy Designer II Job Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in general piping design
- Fueling/energy system design is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering is preferred, but not required
- Proficient with AutoCAD and network filing systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Willingness and/or capability to collaborate in teams to achieve common objectives (a genuine team player).
- Self-motivated with the ability and desire to advance towards energy system expertise.
- Strives for career advancement through research and understanding of project-related equipment, regulatory codes, and emerging technology in energy systems.
