Job Summary: 

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations in our industrial facility. This role requires a strong mechanical and electrical background, along with proven experience in the installation, demolition, and maintenance of material handling and feed mill equipment. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing preventative maintenance, coordinating repairs, and ensuring optimal equipment performance and plant reliability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electromechanical equipment, including motors, bearings, bucket elevators, hydraulics, pumps, compressors, drag and screw augers.
• Communicate proactively with the Plant Manager regarding parts, supplies, and equipment needs, ensuring sufficient stock levels for daily operations and emergencies.
• Lead and participate in welding and fabrication tasks as required.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment issues to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Oversee the rebuilding of rolls, reducers, gearboxes, and other critical mill equipment.
• Maintain and service hydraulic and electrical systems to ensure efficient operation.
• Monitor and report any quality or feed safety issues to the Plant Manager.
• Drive a culture of safety, accountability, opportunistic curiosity and contributes to creating an environment where people want to work.
• Other duties as assigned, including daily operational functions and housekeeping. 

Requirements

Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year supervisory/foreman experience in Industrial Maintenance
• Strong mechanical aptitude including electrical
• Understanding of OSHA/Safety Regulations
• Effective communication skills – both interpersonal and written
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and prioritize based on business needs

Physical Demands: 

• Indoor/outdoor mill setting with exposure to dust, noise, and temperature changes.
• Fast-paced team environment with a strong focus on safety, cleanliness, and quality.
• Employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds, climb 75 feet of ladder, and be able to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. 
• May require working on a rotating shift or weekends depending on production needs.
• Regular and predictable attendance in office or site location.
