Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for commercial management of existing contracts; identifies and secures Request For Quotations for new/replacement business in line with IES Sales strategy
  • Is an integral part of the project team responsible for project commercial activity
  • Protects the interests of OPmobility in front of the customer and represents the interests of the customer at OPmobility
  • Achievement of the objectives defined during annual appraisal
  • Defines pricing policy for new business and generates quotes [piece price, tooling, D&D] in accepted customer format i.e. QAF
  • Responsible for maintaining/improving margins through Engineering Change Request process, productivity studies, updating customer Quotation Answer Form, performing contract review
  • Deals with the customer purchasing centres
  • Responsible for obtaining customer orders; oversees the timely settlement of invoices by the customers (tooling, D&D, piece price…)
  • Provides support to the plants i.e. secures orders in relation to extraordinary activity such as overtime, quality replacements, color change etc.
 

Your profile

  • University degree or similar

  • At least 5-6 years of professional experience in a similar role

  • Very good knowledge of the automotive industry

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Ability to develop customer contacts within the customer base

  • Commercially astute with knowledge of finance to enable quotation completion and subsequent negotiation

  • Fluent German and English skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
