- Maintain accurate and complete records as required by the school, applicable programs and agencies, law, Board Policy, and Administrative Procedure.
- Collect data to direct evidence-based practice.
- Interpret and explain records, reports, activities, healthcare plans, accommodations, and medical interventions.
- Identify health-related barriers to student learning (i.e., at-risk behaviors, financial, cultural, economic, etc.).
- Maximize in-class time by reducing the incidence of health-related absenteeism.
- Eliminate or minimize health problems which impair learning.
- Promote the highest degree of independent student functioning.
- Promote student, staff, and other stakeholder awareness of and participation in healthy behaviors and wellness to improve attendance and student performance and outcomes.
- Serve on special committees, as necessary.
- Monitor appropriate use and care of equipment, materials, and facilities.
- Account for and order program equipment and supplies, as necessary.
- Attend and actively participate in staff/faculty meetings and appropriate job-related professional development, as approved.

Location: Based on identified Community Schools and the needs of the school system
FTE: Full Time Employee
Status: Non-Exempt
Terms: 11 months, 207 workdays, normally 8.0 hours per day but may be greater depending upon the needs of the system
Salary: Hourly ($35.14 - $43.13)
Supervisor:Administrative: Director of Student Services, Clinical: Nurse Manager, Direct: Building Principal
Availability: 2025-2026 School Year, assignments are reviewed each year
