This role's primary focus is overhauling MTU Series 4000 engines; completely disassemble, rebuild and test the engine under full load at this facility. Both factory and in-house training provided with lean manufacturing principals. All applicants must be energetic, perform well with other team members, and willing to learn every aspect of the job.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
In-Shop and In-Field Responsibilities
- Inspect the engine for any missing or damaged components
- Fully disassemble engine and all components
- Inspect and qualify components that are to be reused
- Clean and stage all components for reassembly
- Assemble engine in accordance to OEM standards following our in-house process
- Perform full dyno testing and quality control to ensure standards are met
- Clean and prepare engine for paint in accordance to customer specifications
- Seal up and package engine for shipping
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of mechanical, assembly, experience preferred.
