What you will do  

As a Senior Extrusion Technician, you will be the go-to expert supporting our Polymer Manufacturing, Polymer Extrusion, MicroShunt Molding and MicroShunt Packaging department. Your hands-on technical skills will help drive excellence in production and innovation. 

Your primary responsibilities for this position will include working with extrusion and extrusion-related equipment. Furthermore, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

• Ability to assemble, break down, and clean extruder components.  

• Capable of troubleshooting issues that can arise during extrusion runs.  

• Follow approved procedures such as  OPS, QLPs, etc. for activities conducted.  

• Complete training on the approved procedures and testing methods.  

• Document activities in accordance with operation procedures and applicable general operating procedures.  

• Assist in performing and recording scheduled preventive maintenance per InnFocus GOPs.  

• Assist in IQ/OQ/PQs of new equipment.  

• Assure that all measuring instruments that are used are within calibration limits.  

• Assure individual and group safety when conducting all activities.  

What you will bring to the role  

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field or equivalent experience (High School Diploma required) 

• 7+ years of technician experience with at least 3 years in extrusion.

• 5+ years in medical device and or pharmaceutical manufacturing 

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
