Summary
Are you a seasoned Service Advisor looking to take the next step in your automotive career? As an Assistant Service Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting daily service operations, mentoring advisors, and ensuring our customers continue to receive top-tier service. This position is ideal for someone ready to take on more responsibility while still staying involved in the front-end service process.
Responsibilities

Assist the Service Manager with day-to-day operations, ensuring an efficient and organized workflow throughout the department

Provide guidance and support to Service Advisors, helping review repair orders, resolve issues, and maintain strong customer communication

Serve as a point of contact for escalated customer concerns, working to resolve issues promptly and professionally

Oversee vehicle repair status throughout the day, helping ensure repairs stay on schedule and customers are kept informed
-
Review estimates and repair orders for accuracy and completeness, verifying that all recommended services are properly documented

Coordinate with technicians and the parts department to manage timelines and maintain a smooth repair process

Help onboard and train new Service Advisors, offering mentorship and reinforcing best practices

Step in to assist with customer intake and service write-ups when needed to support the team

Contribute to department goals by helping improve customer satisfaction scores, service revenue, and overall team performance

Qualifications
Requirements

Prior experience as a Service Advisor

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Solid understanding of service operations, workflow, and profitability metrics

Familiarity with warranty processes and repair order documentation

Experience with DMS systems (CDK preferred)

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
