The PositionThe City of Maple Grove is accepting applications for a Sports Dome Facility Supervisor responsible for quality customer service delivery in the areas of supervision, monitoring of facility and program activities in the facility. This position will provide appropriate customer contact and facilitate proper emergency procedures under the general supervision of the Dome Operations Supervisor.
Position Duties
- Enforce established policies, including the noise level, neatness and supervision. Resolve customer concerns in accordance with standards of procedures.
- Monitors and responds to behavior, safety and emergency situations.
- Direct facility usage to include adhering scheduled start/end times in accordance to the issued permits for usage to the public.
- Ensures facility and/or equipment set-up and tear downs for events are completed in a timely manner. Completes all preparation requirements in accordance to permit requirements.
- Facilitates proper use of equipment provided to facility users.
- Administers basic first aid and directs emergency procedures in the event of an emergency.
- Responsible for security procedures including opening or closing the facility.
- Assists in coordination and monitoring of facility operations.
- Performs general cleaning and light maintenance duties.
- Performs daily verbal and/or written communication and completes necessary reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicates issues to direct supervisor.
- Meet with supervisor as necessary to assure all related duties are completed.
- Attends meetings and training as scheduled.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
An equivalent combination of education and experience closely related to the duties of the position MAY be considered.
Need to have:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Nice to have:
- Experience working in crowd control and facility supervision.
- Experience with sports or sports equipment use and set up.
- Experience in performing custodial/cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Current C.P.R. certification and Red Cross Basic First Aide training preferred.
