Job Title: Project Manager – Data Analysis & Administrative Support

Location: On-site at PBGC Headquarters – 1200 K Street NW, Washington, D.C. 

Pay Range: 
Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract (Contingent upon contract award)

Position Summary: CLJ Consulting and Contracting LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee all aspects of the Data Analysis and Administrative Support contract at the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC). The Project Manager will be responsible for managing operations, ensuring contract compliance, maintaining quality performance, and serving as the central liaison between CLJ and PBGC leadership. This role requires a proactive leader with strong organizational, communication, and client-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the PBGC support contract, including task execution and staff oversight
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and resource plans to meet contractual objectives
  • Ensure all contract deliverables are submitted on time, within scope, and meet quality expectations
  • Act as the primary point of contact for PBGC leadership, stakeholders, and contract officers
  • Monitor team performance, provide coaching and feedback, and ensure staff adherence to agency standards
  • Lead status meetings, provide project updates, and submit required reports to government counterparts
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate closely with internal CLJ leadership to align strategic goals and contract performance

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing government contracts or federal agency projects
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multi-functional teams and meeting contract goals
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Master’s degree in Project Management, Public Administration, or related discipline
  • Experience managing federal contracts supporting data analysis and/or administrative services
  • Familiarity with PBGC operations or similar government agencies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and collaborative management tools

Clearance Requirement:

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass all required background checks.
  • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
