Five Iron Golf (5i) is the country's biggest indoor golf company with three locations in New York City, three locations in Chicago, two locations in Philadelphia, and locations in Seattle, Baltimore, Las Vegas, DC, and Pittsburgh with many more to come!

5i is not your traditional country club. We aspire to establish a casual, relaxed environment for golfers and non-golfers alike. We are a fun and growing company with an urban vibe. We offer indoor golf simulation, lessons, golf fittings, and food and beverage service. As we expand, we are looking for team-oriented employees who help continue our most important tradition; providing outstanding customer service.


We are seeking a Facilities Manager. This individual will oversee space related operations, golf operations, and simulator maintenance at all Five Iron locations in New York and will report directly to the VP of Operations.


Responsibilities include the following:


Simulator Operations

Responsible for keeping simulators in good working condition

General maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting

Manage and maintain inventory of spare parts

Serve as POC for staff and vendors on all Simulator Operations

Stay up to date with simulator training/updates and pass on knowledge to staff

Maintain cameras, projectors, screens, mats, etc.

Utilities and Space Maintenance

Work with all vendors for repairs, breaks, replacement equipment, etc.

Source vendors for bigger repairs

Evaluate & manage relationships with current vendors

Ensure the space is always kept clean

Lead deep cleaning projects

Manage Housekeeping team

Ensure that the location adheres to pertinent health and safety regulations

Oversee the inventory, sale, and display of retail items

Carpentry

Sheetrock/Patch & Paint/Wallpaper

Appliance Repair

Minor electrical and plumbing repair

Basic HVAC Maintenance (i.e. filters & belts)


Required Qualifications:


Great interpersonal and communication skills

5+ years of handyman experience

experience working with and troubleshooting technology (computers, PC installation, AV systems, projectors, etc) *simulator experience a plus*

Strong problem-solving abilities

Previous supervisory experience

Strong leadership skills

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holiday

Job Type: This position will be a Full Time, Exempt role

Hours: will vary by week and will be focused on night and weekend shifts.
