Your Opportunity Stantec’s thriving Great Lakes environmental services practices are looking for an experienced Environmental Scientist, Geologist, or Engineer to join us. Our team is growing, and we have a need for a project manager with at least 8 years of relevant experience in the environmental field and a strong interest in environmental assessment and remediation. This team will be primarily focused on project management and technical report writing for complex assessment and remediation projects. Well-qualified candidates will have experience/familiarity in implementing and managing environmental site investigations and remediation projects. Strong writing and communication skills are critical, as is an understanding of effective project management concepts and approaches. This position will be mainly office-based in Indiana but includes project opportunities in other Great Lakes states.

Your Capabilities and Credentials
- 8-12 years of progressively responsible experience in environmental remediation, and project management
- Self-starting, team-oriented problem solver
- Strong research, analysis, and writing skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Good driving record and valid driver’s license required
Education and Experience
- At least eight years of experience in the environmental consulting field with an educational background that includes a bachelor’s degree or higher in geology, environmental science, engineering or related field.
- Experience managing federal or state funded brownfield/redevelopment projects desired. Professional licensure required (i.e. PG or PE).
Majority of time spent in office environment with prolonged sitting and computer work, or combination of office and field. Ability to lift and move items and equipment up to 50 lbs.
