Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists operations supervisor in making sure all lines are obtaining performance goals in their department including quality, yields, efficiency, supply waste, etc. The incumbent will be responsible for keeping production lines running.
  • Assists operations supervisor in determining opportunities to improve overall performance of the department. This may include presenting and acting upon ideas of better work methods or staffing of personnel to maximize efficiencies.
  • Is responsible for educating new employees on the safety, quality, and process requirements of various positions. This would include training on the personal protective equipment required, machine hazards, fork-lift traffic, quality specification of products, etc.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years old.
  • Must be willing to work overtime and weekends.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Be able to work in a cold environment (32-45 degrees) for 8-10 hours a day.
  • Must be able to move, lift, push or pull 50-70lb, several times an hour, for 8-10 hours a day.
  • Must be able to stand 8-10 hours a day.
  • Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices(GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs
  • 2 years of consistent work history at a food manufacturing facility or production facility
  • English Bilingual

Preferred Requirements:

  • Previous coordinator experience in a food manufacturing facility or production facility
