- Investment Data Management Expertise & Client Engagement – Leveraging deep knowledge of financial instruments, vendor data (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv, ICE, MSCI), and market practices to deliver client-centric solutions and attentively shape the service experience across the investment data lifecycle.
- Project Delivery & Stream Leadership – Leading the onboarding stream for Data Management Services with a focus on accurate data integration, vendor configuration, testing oversight, and seamless alignment with the client’s operational and reporting needs.
- Standards, Controls & Continuous Improvement – Embedding investment data-specific controls, KPIs, and governance frameworks that ensure accuracy, compliance, and audit-readiness, while continuously driving scalable improvements across operational processes.
This role directly supports SimCorp’s strategic vision for scalable and resilient data management services.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

- Evaluate and improve existing workflows, SOPs, and governance processes to ensure scalable and audit-ready operations.
- Design and maintain KPIs, capacity models, and performance scorecards aligned with DMS and client SLAs.
- Drive incident response and stabilization efforts during onboarding, especially for newly built services or operational gaps.
- Champion automation initiatives and partner with data and change teams to reduce manual intervention and mitigate risk.
- Provide specialized insight into data governance, controls frameworks (preventive, detective, corrective), and regulatory readiness (e.g., SOC1, SFDR).
- Act as an internal consultant to standardize delivery models across teams, including alternative investments and ESG data workflows.
- Collaborate with Product, Professional Services, and Business Services to improve service design, implementation quality, and post-go-live stability.
- Effectively lead the Operational Excellence community of practice and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement across the global team.
WHAT WE VALUE
- Deep operational experience in investment data management services with direct client engagement.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing the Investment data management Service projects, encompassing project coordination, test oversight, and cutover planning.
- Demonstrated success in implementing process improvement, automation, and performance initiatives within financial operations.
- Familiarity with SimCorp Dimension, EDM tools, or other investment management platforms.
- Knowledge of key investment data domains (e.g., market data, reference data, ESG, pricing, alternatives).
- Practical experience with KPIs, risk-control matrices, runbooks, and audit-aligned governance (SOC1, ISAE, etc.).
- Well-developed cross-functional leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
