As a Senior HRBP at EdgeUno, you will provide high-level HR expertise and support to the technology team. This role requires a strategic thinker who can align HR practices with business objectives and ensure the effective execution of HR processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HR practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and employees.
Core Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic partner to the Technology Business Unit, understanding their goals and challenges, and providing HR solutions that align with business objectives.
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Lead and manage HR initiatives and projects specific to the Technology Business Unit, ensuring timely and effective implementation.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to attract, recruit, and retain top talent for the Technology Business Unit.
- Support employee development through coaching, mentoring, and identifying training needs and opportunities.
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to drive data-informed decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Promote and foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the Technology Business Unit.
- Facilitate organizational change and development initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of the Technology Business Unit.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing strategic HR guidance and support.
- Build and lead High-Performance Teams, emphasizing efficiency, diversity, and innovation from a talent perspective.
- Engage directly in HR operations, including onboarding, employee engagement, and resolving day-to-day HR issues. This role requires a proactive and hands-on approach to effectively support the team and address immediate needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sr HRBP or HR Manager for a tech team or in a similar senior HR role.
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Experience working in a global environment, understanding and navigating cross-cultural dynamics.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in English, Spanish, and/or Portuguese.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in the cloud, hosting, data center, and/or telecommunications industry is desirable.
