This role typically requires considerable experience, deep expertise in technologies, and strong interpersonal skills

What You’ll Do

Product & Technology - Software Engineering & IT develops and maintains Telstra's software and IT systems, working on some really cutting-edge technologies.

• Design, develop and implement Customer Service Management, Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, CMDB, ITAM, Service Catalog workflows, ITIL processes, UI/UX Service Portal within ServiceNow platform and integrations with external systems.
• Design, develop and implement Strategic Portfolio Management, Field Service Management, Order Management, SecOps
• Design, develop and implement Business rules, UI Action , UI Policy, Data policy, events, script action, workflow orchestration activity, Mid-server, data sources, schedule jobs and data management activities.
• Design and develop moderately complex scripts, workflows and third party integrations and create custom applications in ServiceNow.
• Design and develop integrations using the best option available in ServiceNow, not limiting to JDBC, Web Service Based, Email, File etc.,
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet deadlines under sometimes stressful conditions.
• Developing, Patching, installing, integrating, and troubleshooting ServiceNow applications
• Analyse, interpret complex data, and provide highly advanced solutions to technical problems escalated from the Service Desk
• Maintenance and continuous improvement of the processes, standards, policies, working methods, and tools.
• Ensure appropriate tools and processes are in place to have a development/production environment that is reliable and reproducible.
• Oversee development of the ServiceNow solution in accordance with industry best practices to ensure system compliance.
• Coordinate vendors for ServiceNow product flaws
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with self-directed and independent work ethic.
• Capability to grasp business requirements and translate them into technical solutions effectively.
• Ability to describe technical solutions in business terms.
• Adaptable to dynamic and fast-paced environments
• Team player
 

About You

• 10+ years of relevant experience in ServiceNow development and IT Consulting
• Strong foundation in programming, with a minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in coding, scripting, and debugging.
• Working knowledge of Scrum or Agile development methodologies.
• ITIL Foundation Certification
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education is a prerequisite.
• Possession of ServiceNow System Administration, Developer, or similar certifications.
• Knowledge of Asset and CMDB Implementation
• Knowledge of Performance Analytics and dashboard capability
• Demonstrated expertise in at least two SNOW modules (e.g. ITSM, CSM, TSM etc..,)
• Expertise in web development skills (AngularJS 1.5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS/CSS3, HTML5, XML/JSON, Web Services, with familiarity in AngularJS 2+, React, and charting libraries)
•Proven ability to configure and implement ServiceNow using Business Rules, Client Scripts, sophisticated UI Policies, Flow Designer, UI Actions , Eventing, ACLs, Script Includes, and UI Scripts to meet requirement.
• Familiar with SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to gather requirements from internal and external stakeholders
• Strong analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
