Essential Job Functions
Effectively hire, retain, motivate and train the sales reps within their region and lead them so they consistently achieve the regional financial targets.
Exhibit tremendous personal energy and the ability to energize and motivate others.
Provide training for sales representatives within region to successfully compete within the marketplace.
Act as the conduit of information in the field to be disseminated to the reps and keep executive leaders advised of ongoing successes and failures within their team.
Oversee assigned teams quotas and ensure the attainment of quarterly objectives of revenue, product ASP’s and control of expenses.
Provide ongoing guidance to all reps as the lead resource on company products and strategic initiatives.
Actively participate in regional workshops and strive to improve efficiency and effectiveness of team activities.
Attend select regional and national tradeshows as directed by executive leadership.
Knowledge/Educational Requirements
10+ years of sales experience within medical device industry.
Demonstrated ability in developing and retaining staff as well as recruiting top talent.
Experience managing remote staff within assigned region.
Exceptional presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to forecast results
4 year college degree (Business or marketing degree a plus).
