The Bilingual Healthcare Support Agent will assist patients undergoing immigration medical exams, specifically those related to the USCIS Form I-693. The agent will be responsible for customer service, administrative support, and documentation, ensuring a smooth medical evaluation process in compliance with immigration standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with patients in both Spanish and English (written and verbal).
- Answer inquiries about immigration medical exams, procedures, and timelines
- Guide patients through the USCIS Form I-693 process, ensuring they understand requirements.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records
- Ensure proper documentation is collected, scanned, and stored
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and lab technicians during the exam process.
- Assist in the preparation, review, and submission of USCIS Form I-693.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with USCIS regulations.
- Training will be provided for candidates not already familiar with the form.
4. Customer Service & Follow-Up
- Provide excellent service and maintain professionalism under pressure.
- Follow up with patients for missing documents, payments, or signatures.
- Handle concerns or escalate issues to the medical team when needed.
5. Organizational Tasks
- Maintain internal checklists and reports
- Ensure all tasks are completed in a timely, detail-oriented manner
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Fluent in Spanish and English (verbal and written).
- Prior experience in healthcare and/or customer service is a plus.
- Familiarity with USCIS Form I-693 or the immigration medical process is highly preferred (training will be provided).
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
