About the role:
As Senior Manager – Corporate Strategy, International Expansion, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping FanCode’s global expansion roadmap. From identifying high-opportunity regions to developing tailored market entry strategies, you will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to drive FanCode’s presence in international markets. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that combines strategic thinking with strong execution.
What You’ll Do:
Assess Global Opportunities: Identify and evaluate high-potential international markets through structured analysis of consumer trends, competition, economics, and regulatory factors.
Develop Market Entry Strategies: Build data-backed entry plans including business cases, market prioritization, and evaluation of models like partnerships, JVs, or organic expansion.
Shape Expansion Roadmaps: Define go-to-market playbooks tailored to each region—covering positioning, localisation strategy, and market sequencing.
Drive Strategic Partnerships: Identify and support high-impact alliances with local players (e.g., telcos, platforms, aggregators) that accelerate growth and market access.
Enable Cross-Functional Execution: Work closely with product, content, legal, finance, and marketing teams to align expansion strategy with business goals and execution plans.
Must-Haves:
5+ years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, or strategy roles in high-growth companies
Proven experience leading market assessments, and international expansion projects
Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills; comfortable building models and translating insights into strategy
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and influence decisions
Ability to thrive in ambiguity, balance long-term thinking with near-term action, and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
A sports enthusiast with a strong grasp of the business and evolving trends within the global sports and digital content industry
MBA or equivalent post-graduate degree from a top-tier institution preferred
