We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Pricing Actuary – A&H to join our Continental Europe Pricing team, preferably based in Germany (Munich, Cologne, Hamburg). This role is ideal for a candidate with 3–5 years of actuarial experience or a recent graduate with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, eager to develop expertise in Accident & Health (A&H) products.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the development and maintenance of pricing models, analyzing portfolio performance, and collaborating with underwriters to ensure competitive and profitable pricing strategies

What you’ll be doing:
Pricing Model Development and Maintenance:
- Assist in the design, implementation, and refinement of pricing models for A&H products.
- Ensure models are aligned with the company's overall pricing framework and regional requirements.
Portfolio Performance Analysis:
- Analyze portfolio performance and key metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide actionable insights on rate adequacy, profitability, and portfolio optimization.
Collaboration with Underwriters:
- Work closely with underwriters to provide actuarial input on individual accounts and larger portfolios.
- Support negotiations by delivering data-driven recommendations on pricing and terms.
Reporting and Insights:
- Prepare regular reports on pricing, performance, and market trends for internal stakeholders.
- Present findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Continuous Learning and Market Awareness:
- Stay informed about A&H market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments.
- Contribute to the development of best practices within the pricing team.
What you’ll bring:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of actuarial experience preferred; outstanding recent graduates will also be considered.
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in actuarial tools and software; knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL is a plus.
- Experience with A&H products is a significant advantage but not mandatory.
Soft Skills:
- Analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Language Skills:
- Proficiency in English is required. Proficiency in German (written and spoken) or any other Northern European language is a plus.
