The Associate serves as an internal consultant to Novant Health leadership and staff on large complex system, market, or facility level initiatives. The primary focus of the Associate is to provide partnership and facilitation to leaders and teams in strategic planning, project/program execution, and/or design or re-design of system-wide Novant Health processes and service offerings. The Associate is expected to pursue her/his/their work with a high level of energy and steadfastly push self and others for results while supporting the organization in education, application of tools, methods, data collection, analysis, project facilitation, project management, and general leadership development in areas related to change management. As an internal consultant, she/he/they is expected to provide support to system, market, or facility level initiatives with support and guidance from more senior consultants and Internal Consulting leadership
Qualifications:- Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
- Will accept ten (10) years' relevant work experience in lieu of bachelor's degree, required.
- Experience: One year of experience In a consulting, planning, analytics, or performance improvement role; required.
- Leads discovery process through active listening and dialogue with customers and key stakeholders
- Summarizes results of analyses, assessments, group processes, etc. clearly in written and graphical presentation
- Reduces large amounts of data and information to tell a story, simplifies understanding for others, and identifies most critical information, while resisting urge for complete data to support decision making
- Understands values and motivators of key stakeholders, and adjusts approach as needed to accelerate results
- Provides leadership to project teams, demonstrating ability to lead through influence and leveraging relationships
- Negotiates varying wants vs. needs across key stakeholders, forces common understanding of objectives and approach
