Mission:

Strategic Alliances is at the heart of everything Ascent does, from aligning technical direction through to pipeline and everything in-between, establishing itself as a world leader in the Microsoft partner ecosystem. The Strategic Alliances Manager brings practical knowledge of business development and communication to run the operations of the department. Your discipline in business operations assists Ascent develop partner status by documenting sales status, partner hygiene, data capture and analysis, and participating in partner relations activities. Your ability to approach new relationships and partner dynamics with energy and a proven work ethic makes you a team asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Strategic Alliances operational activities.    
  • Direct support of lead generation activities
  • Support of all pipeline activities to drive speed, growth, and other support from channel resources
  • Engage with partners and key stakeholders in working and planning sessions.   
  • Help define program requirements, portal requirements, and data inputs.    
  • Domain expert providing partner recommendations and best practices to other members of the firm.
  • Ensure success with program management activities such as managing program effectiveness, expenses, tasks, and coordinating meetings.    
  • Responsibility for management of departmental OKRs and KPIs 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years leadership experience in a partner / alliances role
  • Microsoft partner ecosystem experience

Salary range is $120K-$135K, plus bonus incentive pay.
