POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Project Manager at US Urology will play a key role in managing and overseeing IT and infrastructure-related projects. This role requires an individual with experience in project management within an IT context, an understanding of technical systems, and a proven ability to deliver organized and efficient solutions. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects within the IT ecosystem, ensuring they align with business objectives and contribute to the health, performance, and security of our IT environment. You will collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders, contribute to process improvements, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the planning, execution, and closure of IT and infrastructure projects, ensuring they align with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Coordinate with various IT teams to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between project teams, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular status reports to management and stakeholders.
- Ensure project documentation is maintained, including requirements, design specifications, and post-implementation reviews.
- Ensure project activities comply with organizational IT policies, HIPAA, and other relevant industry regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with other IT teams and departments.
- Interface with technology vendors for support, procurement, and strategic planning related to infrastructure solutions within project contexts.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Industry-recognized certifications are highly preferred, such as:
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- CompTIA Project+
- ITIL Foundation
- 3+ years of experience in an IT Project Manager, IT Coordinator, or similar project-focused IT role.
- Demonstrated experience managing IT infrastructure or operational projects.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to address technical and logistical project challenges.
