The Koch Internship Program (KIP) is a paid, 10-week experiential learning program run by Stand Together Fellowships that offers meaningful work experience at non-profits all over the country tackling some of our nation’s most pressing challenges. Throughout your internship with a partner organization, Stand Together Fellowships hosts virtual professional development sessions every Thursday from 1-5 pm ET, wherein you will be mentored by seasoned professionals as you craft a capstone project on the topic that matters most to you. Interns will receive either a $5,500 or $3,300 stipend from Stand Together Fellowships depending on whether they are participating full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (28 hours/week).

About FEE’s Education Entrepreneurship Lab:
FEE’s Education Entrepreneurship Lab is a hub for education innovation, hosting resources for families and founders alike. Positioning itself as the “Entrepreneur.com for education entrepreneurs,” the Lab champions market-based, choice-enabled, entrepreneur-driven educational models.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated intern to work closely with FEE Senior Fellow Kerry McDonald, who leads the Lab, as well as FEE Education Associate Nasiyah Isra-Ul to help expand the Lab’s output, reach, and impact. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in education and entrepreneurship, including alternative and emerging learning models such as homeschooling and microschooling; excellent communication skills; and an entrepreneurial mindset.
This role is open to part time or full time, remote work.
Responsibilities
Drafting articles and website content.
Creating social media posts.
Interacting with families and founders interested in finding or building new schools and learning models.
Assisting with planning for Kerry’s August 2025 book launch events.
Helping with conference presentation planning.
Identifying new opportunities for the Lab.
Staying up-to-date on education policy trends.
Skills
A background in economics or related majors desired, but not required.
An understanding of education policy trends preferred.
Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to efficiently prioritize tasks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration at all levels; previous publishing experience a plus.
Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.) and willingness to learn new software and tools.
Independent and team-oriented, demonstrating a proactive and positive approach to work.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative and resourceful mindset.
