Responsible for processing total loss claims on all credit union secured collateral. Ensures that credit union recovers all available claim payments and warranty refunds minimize charge offs. Processes CPI/SMP billing and refund files on a weekly basis.
Qualifications:Required Skills/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One year of collections experience required, or two years of customer service or insurance experience in lieu of collections experience, required.
- PC skills, working knowledge of automated collection systems and comprehension of credit reports required.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills, strong interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize work, flexibility, the ability to maintain confidentiality, strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and type English.
- Must be able to hear and use a telephone.
- Use of computer requires repetitive keystrokes.
Work Environment:
- Remote position
- Sedentary role.
- Flexible work schedule that may include evenings and/or weekends (Saturday) hours.
