Berkshire Hathaway GUARD is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our dynamic Accounting & Finance Team.
We’re looking for a self-motivated, adaptable, and energetic team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. In addition to core accounting and reporting responsibilities, this position will play a role in developing innovative solutions to business challenges, making it an excellent opportunity for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare reports, make general ledger entries and verify the accuracy of journal entries and resulting balances
- Analyze and prepare periodic account reconciliations and analytics demonstrating initiative in resolving reconcilement issues
- Provide superior customer service to both internal and external customers
- Ensure compliance with key internal control procedures
- Identify, research, and resolve billing and processing issues in the central billing system with timely follow-up
- Reconcile receivable accounts on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis
- Prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
- 2-5 years of accounting experience, with a strong emphasis on accounts receivable
- Experience reconciling receivable accounts on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement and efficiency
- Insurance accounting knowledge is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required; experience with Oracle Fusion financial applications is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to shifting demands
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Salary Range:
$45,000 - $70,000

The annual base salary range posted represents a broad range of salaries around the U.S. and is subject to many factors including but not limited to credentials, education, experience, geographic location, job responsibilities, performance, skills, and/or training.
