Position Summary

The Workforce & Recruitment Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Regional Crisis Line (RCL) team by aligning staffing needs with operational goals. This role partners with Call Center Leadership, Workforce Management, and Recruitment teams to identify staffing gaps, support the hiring process, monitor new hire training, and ensure the team is resourced to meet performance and scheduling demands.


The Coordinator leads the first phase of candidate screening, updates job descriptions in collaboration with leadership, tracks onboarding progress, and provides timely feedback to improve staff performance and retention during the first 90 days of employment. This position is instrumental in ensuring high-quality care through strategic staffing and efficient onboarding.

Director of Contact Center Operations 


Work Environment

  • Location: Hybrid 
  • Hours: Full-time, primarily Monday through Friday; occasional evening or weekend support may be required based on hiring needs and staffing shifts. Some travel and off-site work may be required for recruitment or other events.

Key Responsibilities


Recruitment & Hiring Support

  • Collaborate with the Workforce Management team to identify staffing needs based on scheduling forecasts and separation trends.
  • Draft, post, and maintain job listings using Paylocity or similar platforms.
  • Conduct first-round interviews for clinical crisis line roles, assessing functional fit and alignment with role requirements.
  • Develop and maintain structured interview guides with a DEIB lens to promote inclusive hiring practices.
  • Regularly evaluate and update job descriptions to reflect changing departmental needs.

Workforce Scheduling Coordination

  • Work with the Workforce Management team to monitor staffing coverage, forecast needs, and address scheduling gaps.
  • Assist in planning for anticipated staff departures or leaves.
  • Contribute to short- and long-term workforce planning strategies in collaboration with leadership.

Training & Onboarding Tracking

  • Track completion of training modules and milestones for new hires in their first 90 days.
  • Evaluate new hire performance in coordination with team leads and trainers; identify challenges early and suggest solutions.
  • Provide structured feedback to both new hires and leadership regarding progress and readiness for independent work.

Process Improvement

  • Propose and implement process improvements for hiring, scheduling, and onboarding workflows.
  • Identify, document and implement processes      
  • Develop tools, templates, and dashboards to support continuous improvement in recruitment and training outcomes.
  • Partner across teams (clinical, operations, training) to streamline communication and resolve bottlenecks.[EB2] 

  

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in recruitment, workforce coordination, or a call center environment.
  • Strong knowledge of job descriptions, interview processes, and workforce planning in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (e.g., Paylocity) and workforce management software.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with diverse and interdisciplinary teams; commitment to inclusive hiring practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a clinical or behavioral health call center.
  • Familiarity with crisis intervention or emergency response staffing models.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish or other language) a plus. +$1/hr pay differential for approved bilingual candidates.

  • Training completion rate within 30/60/90-day benchmarks
  • Scheduling  gap reduction metrics
