Description

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive health services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.

We are currently seeking a full-time (32 hours/week) Psychiatrist to join our teams at Southeast Correctional Center in Charleston, MO and South Central Correctional Center in Licking, MO.  This is a hybrid role with a schedule of 1 day onsite and 1 day telehealth weekly at each facility.

The Psychiatrist works within a multi-disciplinary team to provide behavioral health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients in a correctional setting.

Qualifications


  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
  • Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry
  • Active and unrestricted Missouri medical license or the ability to obtain licensure
  • Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
  • Missouri BNDD
  • Ability to pass credentialing and background check

Available Shift

  • Day Shift
  • 8-hour shifts
  • 32 hours per week
  • No nights, holidays or weeknds
