The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a Senior Global Service Professional within our Core division, based in Irving, TX.
The Senior Global Service Professional is a pivotal member of the Global Service and Support team, responsible for delivering advanced technical expertise across automation and informatics systems, including the ACCELERATOR a3600 and GLP Automation System. This role supports field engineers, drives resolution of complex service issues, and contributes to the development of global service strategies and documentation. The position requires strong cross-functional collaboration with R&D, manufacturing partners, and internal stakeholders.
What You’ll Work On
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for automation, electro-mechanical hardware, and informatics systems.
- Provide remote and on-site technical support for field service teams and resolve escalated technical issues.
- Collaborate with R&D and OEM partners to develop sustainable solutions and improve product supportability.
- Design and deliver technical training programs for global service personnel.
- Author, review, and maintain technical documentation, including service manuals and SOPs.
- Lead and contribute to multiple concurrent service and support projects.
- Represent the Global Service team in product support, improvement, and service strategy meetings.
- Conduct retrofit and performance analyses to drive corrective actions.
- Analyze system performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support design-for-serviceability during new product development and launch.
- Develop and implement installation and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Provide regular performance updates and insights to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Allied Health, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in clinical laboratories, biomedical engineering, or diagnostic medical equipment servicing
- Proficiency in software and networking, including:
- Linux OS and command-line tools
- Various software platforms and application architectures
- Networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS)
- System integration and troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% globally
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related technical or scientific field
- Experience with automation, informatics, application architecture, and networking
- Familiarity with cGMP, QSR, and IVDD regulatory frameworks
- Experience in project management and customer-facing technical roles.

The base pay for this position is
$85,300.00 – $170,700.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
