Job description:

We are seeking an ideal candidate to work at our mining sites as part of the Group Finance team with :

-        Knowledge in Business Applications covering specifically all Financials but also advantageous with Supply Chain and Facilities Management modules

-        Possess excellent problem solving & troubleshooting skills

-        Thrive on providing the right advice and solutions to customers

-        A positive ‘can do’ attitude and work ethic

-        Knowledge of Pronto Xi or similar ERP software

-        Team player with strong interpersonal skills

This is a career growth role developing around Customer and Business with service and support in these areas which require your experience and skill in business areas mentioned.

This is not a technical position (you don’t need to be a programmer) this requires someone with front end business application experience.

If you enjoy problem solving and troubleshooting and solutions with attention to detail and you get excited about providing the right advice and solution to the customer. Your current skills and experience in these areas will assist you in this role.

Excellent understanding of business operational needs

Key Responsibilities

  • A first point of contact on Customer Service functions to solve user requests in a global team covering a suite of applications

  • A good portion of the role will also be spent working on projects and improvements to improve user and business experiences, may require gathering, scoping, designing, documenting, solving and mapping solutions as needed

  • Collaborate with implementations and project execution and ensuring best practices and standardizations are achieved 

  • Provide expert level of Sound business and service and support internally and externally, which may require troubleshooting, reproducing, resolving report authoring or optimizing or process review and improvement utilizing your financial strengths to assist the business departments.

  • Prioritise the needs of each Request, by Operation, and Users, in conjunction with day to day tasks and Project deadlines and ensure end user efficiency

  • Using your communication skills to Train users, scheduling and upkeep of training material including documentation, online training and e-learning packages, for the application portfolio

  • To administer user access controls and access reviews

  • Management of issues that are escalated to vendors

  • Adhoc work on other Group Projects as needed

  • Perform other duties as required

  • Follow internal and best practice controls to uphold Audit practices

  • Travel as required

Qualifications

•        Grade 12 certificate with good results

•        Tertiary Qualifications, Financial and Supply Chain Qualifications preferred

•        2-3 years Pronto preferred experience in Supporting Business Roles, would be advantageous

•        Proven Business Acumen knowledge training experience with customers

MS office Suite, Helpdesk utilities, Reporting tools

Experience

  • Experience with ERP Systems, Pronto Xi preferred or other ERP applications

  • Well-developed skills in: Business systems and business knowledge Problem solving and analytical skills Communication, negotiating and interpersonal skills
