JOB OVERVIEW

The Fuel Management Department provides a valuable expense management and fraud control service for Wheels clients. The manager of this area is responsible for the overall Fuel Management Program, leading the Fuel team to ensure the delivery of superior service and support the financial objectives of the Fuel product. This role is critical to the overall success of the program and client retention. A high volume of transactions are managed daily and represent millions of dollars of spend each month. The successful manager will build strong relationships with Wheels clients, understand their expectations, and ensure accuracy and quality of all deliverables. Working effectively with various internal operating groups to manage client expectations, coordinate problem resolution and process improvement is also critical to this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for the overall Fuel Management Program, including Administration, Customer Service, Billing, Vendor Management and Fraud Prevention
  • Analyze operating statistics of the department to insure proper balance throughout the team
  • Participate in various management activities to support the goals of the department as well as those of the company
  • Effectively communicate Wheels value to our clients and prospects
  • Give presentations to various audiences
  • Ability to manage independently including troubleshooting product issues, work with clients and proactively resolve the issues
  • Establish and maintain communications with clients and various Wheels departments including Product Management, Finance, IT, Account Management, Account Transitions and Client Service

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • College Degree or minimum of 5 years relevant work experience
  • At least 5 years of Customer Service experience
  • One to three years of supervisory experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with PCs


JOB SPECIFICATIONS, PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work Environment: This position is in Schaumburg, IL and operates in a professional office environment.
Position Type/Standard Schedule: This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
Travel: No Travel required for this position.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, and use hands and fingers to operate telephones and computers.

Pay Range:

$77,400-$108,400

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan which is based on company performance and individual performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience, education, certifications, skill level and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
