SUPERVISORY INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST (TITLE 32)

Salary Range: $88621 - $115213 Per Year

Job Summary: THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPERVISORY INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST (TITLE 32), Position Description Number NGD1651P01 and is part of the TN 118th WING Air National Guard. This vacancy is not eligible for membership to a labor organization.

Major Duties:

  • As a Supervisory Intelligence Operations Specialist, GS-0132-12, you will plan, organize, and direct the activities of the assigned technicians, ensuring that the advice and assistance provided complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Exercise supervisory personnel management. Coordinate with a variety of counterparts and higher-level officials in the gaining command and in a large segment of the defense sector of the intelligence community. Responsible to train assigned military unit members in the duties and functions associated with intelligence Tasking, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TPED). Provides real-time intelligence TPED support to National Agencies, Joint Commands, Air Force Major Commands (MAJCOMs), Air Operations Centers (AOCs), and US and coalition airborne assets in exercise and contingency operations. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Military Grades: E-7 (MSgt) through E-8 (SMSgt) Compatible Military Assignments (AFSC's): 1N4, 1N0, 1N292 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have experience, education, or training which demonstrates administrative, professional, investigative, or technical work requiring the ability to deal effectively with others, to collect, evaluate and organize pertinent facts. Experience preparing clear and concise written reports. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have 1 year experience at the next lower grade of GS-11, or 36 months specialized experience, education or training developing and recommending policy, organizing and carrying out specific programs, evaluating and recommending changes in methods of intelligence operations. Experience in administrative, investigative, or technical work which required the applicant to deal effectively with others; experience collecting, evaluating and organizing pertinent facts and to analyze and prepare clear and concise reports. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed; experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
