Salary Range: $142488 - $185234 Per Year

Job Summary: This Fraud Detection and National Security position is located in Refugee, Asylum and International Operations Directorate's Classified Vetting Branch. As a Supervisory Intelligence Research Specialist, you will analyze and evaluate large volumes of intelligence materials to assist adjudicators in ensuring applicants for immiration benefits are propery vetted and benefits are not granted to individuals who pose a threat to our Nation's security.

Major Duties:

  • Responsible for performing administrative and human resource management and management functions.
  • Plan, develop and support information sharing efforts with law enforcement and intelligence community elements.
  • Coordinate intelligence operations and maintain liaison with other government agencies.
  • Monitor and evaluate communication and information sharing processes across the Directorate and Agency.
  • Evaluate large volumes of sensitive information to identify trends and analyze their impact.

Qualifications: The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 07/25/2025. Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 07/25/2025. GS-14: You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties: Administering program direction, resource allocation, and program oversight for the unit. Directing intelligence programs that have a wide range of diversified and complex functions. Overseeing the development of intelligence data, estimates, statistics, suggestions, and other information useful to higher level managers. Researching and analyzing all source information and intelligence; synthesizing information and raw intelligence reporting. Representing on a wide variety of inter- or intra-agency task forces, committees and working groups that address issues of critical interest; and briefing senior leadership.
