The University of Louisville Department of Family and Geriatric Medicine is seeking a faculty member to join the Department as a full-time Geriatrician. Applicants should be board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, obtain licensure in the state of Kentucky, and have demonstrated clinical and teaching skills. The applicant should have the additional training of an accredited geriatric medicine fellowship. Commensurate prior experience in this discipline will also be considered. This position will consist of providing full-scope geriatric care in the nursing home care and outpatient care at the multi-disciplinary Trager Optimal Aging Clinic. Experience and/or an interest in serving as a nursing home medical director is preferred. Supervising geriatric medicine fellows and working with residents and students in all settings is a key portion of the position, as well as supporting our departmental missions for education and clinical service.
