Position Summary
This position is responsible for supporting the nutritional product organization. This Project Manager will play a key role in supporting the new product development, business growth and operational efficiency. This position requires robust project management and organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and ability to work efficiently. This role requires strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal resources, external vendors and at times, directly with customers.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Product Development Project Management
- Create and maintain project plans, timelines and tasks for New Product Development
- Organize and spearhead communication with key people involved in project completion to ensure on time project completion.
- Help coordinate sample evaluation & feedback to guide key decisions
- Help compile supporting evidence for dietary supplement ingredients and formulas
Product Labels
- Oversee detailed steps of label creation/edits
- Respond to vendor review/update requests
- Collaborate with creative agency to ensure label accuracy
- Maintain label compliance with 3rd party testing partner(s)
Retail Operations
- Manage new item setup across sales channels and shared services (pricing, descriptions, images, etc.)
- Maintain accurate and compliant product listings
- Assist with compiling content for field communication and field resources
- Assist with reviewing business performance metrics for the product assortment and sales channels
Quality & Compliance support
- Coordinate adverse event report evaluation and response
- Maintain database of all Raw Materials & Finished Goods Testing
- Maintain database of all claims substantiation
- Maintain database of all 3rd party testing
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Above average familiarity with the dietary supplement & functional food industry is preferred
- Excellent project management and organization skills
- Ability to multi-task and learn quickly
- Ability to operate a personal computer
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively multi-task with tight deadlines independently and within a team environment
- Excellent effectiveness in leading cross-functional projects
- Excellent effectiveness developing business relationships with partners or vendors
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, nutrition, or related field
Years of Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in Business or related field

Pay
This is a salaried position starting at $49,000.00 and pays up to $66,000.00, based on experience and qualifications.Benefits
