SUMMARY: Leads in the support/development of accounts payable systems and processes. Supports the collaboration/performance of team members and monitoring of workloads.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises multiple employees in the AP Team. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; coaching and counseling employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; provide feedback via performance appraisals; model and encourage company Core Values.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Training Lead/point person for implementing new procedures.
- Leads team in adherence to proper procedures.
- Productivity tracking.
- Employee timekeeping, coaching and counseling.
- Reviews documentation of processes and procedures before implementation.
- Facilitates effective team communication.
- Troubleshoots workflow issues.
- Assist with report development.
- Analysis of weekly reporting.
- Identify and champion continuous improvement efforts.
- Responsible for assigning duties and reallocating as needed.
- New Team member onboarding.
- Direct supervision of a Team/conducts performance reviews.
- Acts as a liaison between Specialists/Analysts and Supervisor.
- Assists Analysts in processing invoice backlogs as needed.
- Decision-making responsibilities in regard to paybacks and/or chargebacks.
- Key person in new process improvement/enhancement testing.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Degree required- skilled in AP processes and systems/ leadership qualities. Accounting/Accounting-related degree.
Initial training will be 90 days and 100% on-site.
After training period, this will be a hybrid position with minimum 2 days on-site.
Candidates must be located in OH and able to commute to the office to be considered.
