As a Senior Manager facilitating the Exception Management process across WI Client Service Operations, you will combine strong domain and operational expertise with leadership and facilitation skills to support requests for non-standard solutions that will keep a focus on the control environment ensuring delivery of high-quality outcomes for our plan sponsors, participants and Fidelity. You will lead a dedicated team of department leaders, all levels, to understand, analyze and evaluate nonstandard solutions and determine if we will support. Through this process you will own documenting the outcomes with clear ownership. You will also own driving a culture of continuous improvement and collaborate with business partners on analyzing trends and identifying improvement opportunities based on trends.

  • Leading a team of cross-functional leaders across WI Client Service Operations and other Fidelity organizations as needed, creating, and maintaining an exciting, inclusive, and high-performance culture
  • Partnering with cross- functional leaders with a goal of driving accountability for timely and accurate review of exception requests and final execution across the global teams
  • Managing multiple requests focusing on timely decisions, ability to execute operational activities and ensure effective execution of key controls within our Workplace Investing Operations
  • Handling escalated situations with appropriate urgency, context, and risk mitigation focus
  • Collaborating with business partners on process improvement recommendations and resolution of issues
  • Effectively working with resources to quickly respond to changing business demands
  • Performing trend analysis of quality data to identify common root causes and determine improvement opportunities
  • Communicating quality trends, outcomes, and recommendations to senior leadership

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated a track record of successfully leading a team of indirect reports
  • Knowledge of industry and regulatory requirements for Defined Contribution (Preferred experience in multiple operational roles across DC or multi-product operational areas)
  • Communication & Listening skills: Excellent written, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • An effective communicator for internal collaboration and senior leadership presentations
  • Ability to navigate and influence across the organization
  • Analytical Problem solver: Able to assess information from multiple angles and break down complex information into concepts and data to drive insights and action
  • You are a strong communicator with a consultative approach, with demonstrated ability to influence the outcome
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; the ability to multi-task and prioritize concurrent assignments with a keen sense of urgency is imperative
  • You use critical thinking skills and analysis to troubleshoot and present recommendations for process improvements
  • Demonstrated experience in operations, process and /or quality management
