JOB SUMMARY
The Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for various positions within our retail grocery store operations. The TA Specialist will review candidate applications, schedule phone screens for skilled positions, launch and assist with online onboarding for new teammates, and sourcing. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent that aligns with the company's values and contributes to its long-term success and growth. The specialist will build strong relationships with hiring managers and ensure a positive candidate experience for our applicants.
This role requires 4 days in office for up to 6 months to learn the role and then will be able to shift to 3 days a week in office and 2 days remote. This role is located in St Louis, Missouri.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages the full cycle of the recruiting process including application review, phone interviews for skilled positions, and launching/assisting new hires with online onboarding.
Reviews and manages background check screening on new hires and works to stay in compliance with E-Verify/I-9 procedures.
Build strong, collaborative relationships with division managers and store management team, providing guidance and support on recruitment best practices, interview techniques, and candidate selection.
Utilizes recruitment metrics for continuous process improvement.
Develops and implements effective candidate sourcing strategies aimed at high volume recruiting across multiple markets.
Partners with local universities through on-campus recruiting events and also partnering with local organizations.
Other duties as assigned including covering for recruiters that are on PTO.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred or a combination of education, training, and directly related experience may be substituted for a degree.
Minimum Years of Experience: 1-3 year
Other Requirements: Workday and Paradox experience preferred
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge
Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
General computer skills and experience with Google and Microsoft Suites
Workday and Paradox AI knowledge preferred
High volume recruiting experience preferred

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers
