Position: Supply Planner, Osprey 

Department: Supply Chain for Osprey 

Work Location: Bend, OR, Cortez, CO,  Arlington, TN, Plano, TX, Hybrid (work 3 days onsite)  

Hybrid Schedule: At Helen of Troy, we embrace a flexible hybrid work model designed to support collaboration and productivity. For roles eligible for hybrid work, our standard schedule includes in-office collaboration from Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Any updates to this model will be communicated in advance. Please note that hybrid eligibility and schedules may vary based on business needs and manager expectations.  

 

What you will be doing: 

The Supply Planner is responsible for managing and executing all processes related to supply planning, purchase order issuance, component planning, as well as capacity planning with contract manufacturing partners.   

This person creates and maintains supply planning models for region, channel and customers incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, operations, product and retailer replenishment, sell-through analysis, and other sources.  

This key role will be responsible for providing the tools and expertise to bring all departments together to achieve accurate and effective planning and execution of production and inventory strategies.   

  • Develop and maintain regional, category, sub-category, and SKU-level supply plans that meet key stakeholder needs, ensuring stated inventory levels are maintained and deliveries are planned appropriately. 

  • Understand and adjust for sales forecast inaccuracies, analyzing their impact on inventory, and making necessary supply adjustments to meet future demand. 

  • Report on and manage key supply chain metrics, including monthly projected inventory levels, category turns, and action plans to meet or exceed targets, while ensuring accuracy of reporting and consistent tracking. 

  • Maintain Oracle systems and supply planning software, ensuring accurate documentation of materials and finished goods deliveries, product hierarchies, item attributes (including substitution rules, roots, item status, MRP planning), and system updates for supply forecast deadlines (ASCP snap dates). 

  • Provide input to the Demand Planning team on inventory strategies for current products, new launches, and phase-outs, proactively advising stakeholders of potential risks using tools such as stock status, Oracle, BI, and other reporting systems. 

  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Operations leadership to implement inventory allocation strategies, optimize Available-to-Ship (ATS) balances, and support replenishment and never-out-of-stock programs. 

  • Support Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) processes by preparing deliverables, contributing to team meetings, and presenting relevant commentary and updates, particularly for week 4 reviews. 

  • Conduct demand and supply analytics, reviewing monthly forecast lags and over/under sales feedback, and adjusting supply plans accordingly to improve performance. 

  • Lead or participate in system implementations, process improvements, and assigned projects, while documenting procedures and educating staff on best practices. 

  • Perform factory analysis, holding manufacturing partners accountable to agreed lead times through lead time vs. actual reporting, and ensure timely system updates for accurate supply plans. 

  • Provide regular updates to sales and operations leadership on KPIs related to inventory, forecasting, and planning, and gather 360-degree feedback from cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. 

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree 

  • 1+ yrs experience  

  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis 

The standard base pay range for this role in Colorado is $55,796 - $90,389annually. This base pay range is specific to Colorado and may not be applicable to other locations. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill level, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
