Job Summary:
AFS is seeking a skilled Scrum Master to lead and support multiple Agile teams in delivering high-quality solutions. This role requires strong facilitation, coaching, and JIRA expertise to drive team performance and agile maturity.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate scrum ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives across multiple teams
- Configure JIRA projects and boards; create and maintain dashboards, compile sprint and velocity reports, and ensure data integrity
- Coordinate dependencies across teams and ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables in a multi-team environment
- Monitor team performance using key Agile metrics and provide regular reports to stakeholders
- Identify and eliminate obstacles to team progress; collaborating with stakeholders, product owners, and leadership to ensure smooth delivery
- Identify and escalate program risks early, working with leadership to develop mitigation strategies
- Foster a high-performing team culture through continuous coaching
What you’ll need:
- 3 years as a Scrum Master managing two or more concurrent Scrum teams
- Experience must include coordinating dependencies and facilitating collaboration across teams
- 3 years of JIRA experience including configuring boards, creating custom dashboards, and generating metrics and reports
- 3 years of experience with enterprise-grade project management tools
- Examples include, but not necessarily limited to, Jira & Confluence
- 3 years of experience working within security-constrained environments
Bonus Points if you have:
- Leadership experience in relevant area
- Experience with government contracting processes (CPARS, CDRLs, etc.)
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, FedRAMP, etc.)
- Experience with distributed/remote team coordination across multiple time zones
- Scrum Master certifications, SAFe preferred
Security Clearance:
Must have an active TS/SCI level clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
