Summary
This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with quality standards for products produced. Key responsibilities include:
- Production paperwork verification
- Production floor checks
- Performing GMP and housekeeping audits
- Team Member food safety training
Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as setting priorities, evaluating results, and coordinating with others. This position is responsible for food safety, food quality, and legality.
Requirements
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience:
- 2 plus years in a food manufacturing environment preferred
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- HACCP certified preferred; must have broad knowledge of HACCP, USDA, GMP, SSOP’s
Computer Skills:
- Basic computer skills for creating simple queries, spreadsheets, etc.
- SAP knowledge preferred
Communication Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Bilingual a plus
Supervisory:
- This position is responsible for supervising a small group of personnel who perform somewhat similar tasks
