Who you are:
As a FIA Claims Manager with Frost Insurance Agency, you are our claims guru. In this role you will prepare and perform claim reviews and act as a trusted consultant. You love details and get excited about outlining your findings into digestible formats. You will be responsible for setting up claim procedures and implementing them insure the best possible experience for our clients. More than that, this role is about providing top-quality service with integrity, caring, and excellence.
What you’ll do:
Prepare for claim reviews, which involves reviewing all open claims on accounts from loss run, preparing status reports on each claim from the various lines of coverage
Perform claim reviews and acts as a consultant with clients, carriers or third party associates
Review all monthly loss runs to determine accuracy of reserves and paid to date for Top Accounts and provide them with spreadsheets to outline results by policy term and/or coverage
Follow up on claim reviews and action plans by corresponding with adjusters and documenting a plan for conclusion
Provide oversight and coordinate a smooth settlement of disputed claims to insure the retention of our larger accounts
Responsible for setting up claim procedures and implementing them to insure that our clients receive the best claims service available
Responsible for oversight of all lawsuits and complex claims for FIA client policy holders
Always taking action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes
What you'll need:
Licensed Claims Adjuster for 5+ years with a current Texas Adjuster's License (All Lines), or attainment within 90 days
Texas General Lines Agent License: Property and Casualty (P&C), or obtainment within 90 days of hire
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
